Dixon had his start in the Real Estate industry in May of 2002, providing full scope marketing and collateral for an esteemed broker in the SF Bay Area. Landing on the front page of Mercury News for both Business Monday on July 21st and on August 31st the cover of Real Estate all within a short time he came to realize that in addition to his visual acumen, Dixon had a knack for communicating, negotiating, and bringing clients together; he decided to set out on his own in 2003.

Dixon took a photo of a home under construction, came back the next day with the image showing what he thought the home would look like upon completion.

Dixon reached a deal with the local Dealership to give the new buyer a Hummer for purchasing the newly constructed Los Altos Home.

As a freshly minted Real Estate agent, Dixon signed his first listing contract for an impressive 9.25 million, a testament to the value he brings to the table. Dixon has since worked with many a prestigious client, from well known sports figures to the inventor of the modern personal computer; in short he rapidly ascended to the upper echelon, an agent catering specifically to the high end luxury market. That became his mantra: luxury marketing for luxury properties.

Dixon could only imagine his first listing being a 25 acre property where the owner Dan Pereyra golfed on his three hole private course. Dixon eventually sold three properties for the owner and still has a good relationship to this day.

Being both a congenial and savvy businessman, as well as expert marketer, Dixon strives to provide the best representation possible. Many agents do their clients a disservice by not pushing the envelope in an effort to court the best potential buyers, whereas Dixon will go that extra mile. Given the opportunity, no task is too daunting for the master marketer: high rise, golf course, beach front, track home; he can sell ANYTHING. His singular vision, backed with an expert team to aid in execution, truly serves to set himself and the properties he represents apart from the din.

After years spent creating and developing high-end marketing campaigns, John decided to focus his considerable talent inward. This Bay Area native, with a background in graphic design and advertising, makes full use of his exceptional skills in promoting and marketing his client’s homes.

A few years prior the pandemic Dixon was a partner in aquiring and developing properties. With eight homes being built Dixon realized how dificult the process was gaining more knowlege as a whole in the real estate industry. Dixon soon realized his skills are far better served negotiating and designing real estate listings. Now that Dixon’s children are young adults, he decided to focus on his real estate goals by creating and designing his dream boutique company Luxury Inc.
